The aim of the project is to establish the European virtual institute for metrology in the field of temperature. More information on the Project at www.evitherm.org. The Project is financed by the 5th  EU Framework Programme.

Interpretation and implementation of quality systems in line with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard in National Metrology Institutes of COOMET member countries
The Project deals with the implementation of the quality management systems in National Metrology Institutes of COOMET countries according to the MRA (BIPM) agreement COOMET Quality Forum. The Project is financed from reserves of COOMET metrology institutes.

Implementation of metrology in the field of research in Europe.  
The main goal of the Project is to propose the conception of the European metrology development in the field of research and development. The Project is financed by the 6th EU Framework Programme.

PPA03/SK/7/7 Improving of some atmospheric pollutants monitoring within the Slovak Republic territory
The aim of the Project is to build the up-to-date system of atmospheric pollutants monitoring. Except the SMU other participants of the Project are also the NMi, The Netherlands, Department of Environment of the Slovak Republic, SHMÚ, Slovak Republic. The Project is financed mostly by the Government of the Netherlands.

PPA/SK/9/2 Implementation of the new EU Directive – MID in the Slovak Republic
The Project deals with the questions of marketing in the field of MID, implementation of the EU directives of a new approach and establishment of notified bodies for instruments, mentioned in the MID directive. Within this Project some business trips of Dutch experts in Slovakia, seminars, consultations, etc. are realised MID Directive. The Project is financed mostly by the Government of the Netherlands.

ACU/2004/KG/14 Building of the Market Environment  – Regulatory of Convergence 
The Project is realised within the developing assistance of Slovakia to developing countries. The Project is focused on the building of the legislative platform for legislative harmonisation in metrology, certification, standardisation and accreditation in Kirghizia and the support of metrology activities in the NISM, Kirghizia. The Project is financed in 80 % by the Department of State of the Slovak Republic sources.
